Birmingham City manager John Eustace is emerging as an early candidate for the Rangers job as pressure mounts on Michael Beale.
Rangers exited from the Champions League and lost the first Old Firm derby of the Premiership season last week to trail Celtic by four points going into the international break.
Ibrox fans voiced their disapproval to make sure Beale is well aware he is in a precarious position just a month into the season.
Names are already being pushed forward to the Rangers board as an early change is anticipated.

Eustace has caught the eye with his work at Birmingham City and previous coaching roles at QPR and the Republic of Ireland.
He kept Birmingham up last year despite a limited budget and changes off the pitch.
He worked well to integrate a number of youngsters with older hands and this season they are unbeaten in the Championship and just two points behind leaders Preston North End.
Eustace has previously attracted attention from Swansea City but is establishing himself as a favourite with fans at St Andrews who are hoping for an upturn in fortunes following new investment from Tom Wagner and an astute summer of recruitment.
