Juventus 'prepared to move three players on to fund Mason Mount bid'
Juventus ‘prepared to allow three players to leave to fund move for Mason Mount’… with the Chelsea star having recently rejected a £200,000-a-week deal to stay at Stamford Bridge
- Juventus are reportedly set to let three players leave in bid to sign Mason Mount
- Leandro Paredes, Weston McKennie and Adrien Rabiot could all depart the club
- Mount has just 18 months remaining on his current deal at Stamford Bridge
- 23-year-old turned down a £200,000-a-week contract offer from the club
Juventus are reportedly interested in moving three players on in order to launch an audacious bid for Chelsea star Mason Mount.
Mount currently has just 18 months remaining on his deal at Stamford Bridge, and recently fuelled speculation regarding a potential departure after rejecting a £200,000-a-week contract extension at the club.
According to a report from Calciomercatoweb, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is an admirer of the England midfielder, and is prepared to offload players in order to make a bid for the player financially viable in the summer.

Leandro Paredes, Weston McKennie and Adrien Rabiot could all leave the club to fund the move
The report claims that the club will opt not to make the loan deal for PSG star Leandro Paredes permanent with the 28-year-old struggling to find a permanent space in Allegri’s starting eleven.
American midfielder Weston McKennie could also be on his way out of the Allianz Stadium, with the funds raised from a prospective sale of the former Schalke star allowing for a move for Mount.
The final player named in the report is Adrien Rabiot, who recently starred in France’s World Cup quarter-final triumph over England.
Mount is currently one of the lowest earners in the first team at Stamford Bridge, having not signed a new deal since his return from a loan spell at Derby
Rabiot looked set to leave Serie A this summer following a protracted transfer saga linking him to a move to Old Trafford, but the move failed to materialise and Rabiot may ultimately leave on a free when his contract expires in June.
Mount’s recent reluctance to renew his current deal at Stamford Bridge has led to hopes in Turin that the midfielder may become the latest English star to ply his trade in the Italian top flight.
The 23-year-old is currently one of the lowest-paid players in Graham Potter’s squad on around £85,000 a week, because he has not signed a contract since shortly after he returned from a loan spell at Derby three years ago, when he had yet to establish himself as a Chelsea first-team regular.
