Liverpool are facing the prospect of heading into the weekend without the services of Alisson, Fabinho, and Roberto Firmino.
Brazil have asked FIFA to apply a ruling that states teams who refuse to release their players for international duty will see those players be suspended for five days between 10-14 September.
Premier League clubs blocked the release of players due to concerns over missing fixtures as a result of quarantine rules from red-listed countries.
And with the Brazilians set to be ineligible for Liverpool's clash with Leeds at the weekend, Daily Star Sport has looked at how they could line up.
Alisson is most notable absentee for Jurgen Klopp.
However, the Reds boast strength in depth in the goalkeeping department, with two Premier League experienced keepers in the form of Adrian and Loris Karius.
Karius last appeared for Klopp's side in the Champions League final against Real Madrid before spending two seasons out on loan.
But Adrian is perhaps the more likely choice, having played understudy to Alisson for the past two seasons.

Fabinho may be more difficult to replace for Klopp.
The Brazilian sits at the base of the midfield, and he is often seen breaking up play while doubling up as a playmaker.
Trent Alexander-Arnold played in a defensive midfield role for England over the international break, and he has occasionally played a similar role for Liverpool.
Utility man James Milner could slot into that position, but Klopp will probably opt for Curtis Jones as his man at the base with Naby Kieta and Thiago sat ahead of the youngster.
