Transfer season is back around the corner and Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool head into January knowing they need to do business.
With Sadio Mane and Mo Salah set to depart for the Africa Cup of Nations come the turn of the year and another injury crisis mounting, new faces will be needed to keep the club's title challenge going.
It comes as little surprise then that the club have been linked with a number of attacking players.
They are reportedly set to make an 'irresistible' offer to a top-class playmaker, while an upcoming winger's agent has said the Reds' interest in his player is 'normal' given his exceptional form.
But the club may be set to miss out on one long-term target.
Daily Star Sport take a look at the latest Liverpool transfer rumours.
Liverpool's 'irresistible' offer
Dani Olmo could be on his way to Anfield with the Reds reportedly preparing a contract offer for the Spanish playmaker.
The versatile 23-year-old, who currently plays for RB Leipzig in Germany, has been heavily linked with a return to Barcelona after coming through the famed La Masia academy at the Camp Nou.
But his head may be turned, with Liverpool said to be 'willing to offer him a contract almost irresistible', reports Catalonian news outlet, El Nacional.
The Reds would reportedly have to also cough up a €50m (£42m) transfer fee to land the player.

Reds interest 'normal'
The agent for Porto forward Luis Diaz has said it's "normal" for clubs like Liverpool to be interested in the Colombia international given his current form, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Diaz has shone both domestically and in the Champions League this season, prompting links with a number of clubs across European football.
His agent Carlos Van Strahalen said it's no surprise he's been linked with a move to Anfield.
"It’s normal," he said. "If a player plays well, if he starts to stand out, if the majority considers him the best player in the Portuguese League, if he’s the top scorer and is making a high-level Champions League, that interest is normal.
"Can he leave Porto? I don’t know."
Despite tracking young Belgian prodigy Jeremy Doku for several years now, Jurgen Klopp's side are set to be pipped to his signature by Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The teenage winger, 18, is one of the rising stars in Europe, currently plying his trade in the French Ligue 1 after signing for his current club from Anderlecht in 2020 in a £23million deal.
Doku has said he was shown around Liverpool's facilities when he was 16, but is said to have been advised to stay at Anderlecht at the time to continue his development.
But new Barca manager Xavi is keen to rebuild his squad and reportedly wants the Rennes winger to be a part of that.
