Reports earlier in the week suggested the Brazil international remains determined to push through a move.
The 22-year-old – identified as a target by ten Hag during talks with United football director John Murtough in Amsterdam last month – shares a good relationship with his former boss, with the Dutchman signing him from Sao Paulo in 2020.
But reports now suggest Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea have met with Antony’s agents as they look to strengthen the squad this summer.
Chelsea have been linked with a move to Ousmane Dembele but Barcelona remain open to sorting a new contract with the Frenchman.

The Blues are also in the race to sign Leeds winger Raphinha, but reports suggest German boss Tuchel would like him to play as a wing-back, something the Brazilian may not be keen on.
That could lead their chase for a new signing to Antony, though Manchester City star Raheem Sterling remains a Blues target.
United fans however will hope to see Antony at Old Trafford next season and that it kickstarts a busy window of activity at the club.
Ten Hag’s top target remains Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, while Jurrien Timber, Pau Torres and Lisandro Martinez are reported targets on a list of defenders.
