Manchester United chief Ed Woodward is working on three signings, reports say. Jadon Sancho, Alex Telles and Amad Traore are all being eyed ahead of the transfer deadline. And seven players could be in line to leave Old Trafford.
Manchester United have endured a frustrating transfer window so far, with Donny van de Beek their only arrival.
And, after having a sluggish start to the new Premier League season, Woodward knows more is required if the club are to challenge Liverpool and Manchester City for the title.
United have seen their rivals strengthen around them and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is understood to be pressuring the board into making further signings before Monday’s deadline.
And the Manchester Evening News say Sancho, Telles and Traore are all being eyed.
Regarding Sancho, United have been quoted a massive £108million fee to bring the 20-year-old to the Theatre of Dreams.

But, despite both that and Borussia Dortmund’s insistence he won’t be going anywhere, United are hopeful of bringing him to Old Trafford.
Sancho wants to come, too, but won’t agitate for a move. He’s grateful for Dortmund for all they’ve done for him in the three years since he swapped Manchester City for the Westfalenstadion and doesn’t want to rock the boat.
With Telles, United are continuing conversations with Porto.
But there’s a likelihood he’ll make the move to the Premier League, with Telles in line to compete with Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams for a starting berth.
Traore is another on United’s radar.

The Atalanta youngster has barely featured for the first team but has sparkled at academy level, hence United’s interest in securing his signature.
Regarding outgoings, and seven could leave.
The club are willing to part ways with Andreas Pereira, with the Brazil international nearing a move to Serie A giants Lazio.
They won’t stand in the way of Sergio Romero should a suitable offer arrive, with the Argentina international eager to leave due to the fact David De Gea and Dean Henderson are above him in the pecking order.
And Jesse Lingard, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Chris Smalling and Diogo Dalot could also be cut loose.

Meanwhile, speaking on Monday night, United legend Roy Keane expressed his concerns for Solskjaer – urging him to win a trophy or finish in the top four to keep his job.
“The remit will be different for Ole this year,” Keane told Monday Night Football.
“I think last year, it was about getting into the top four – I know they got to three semi-finals – but it will be higher this year.
“They will certainly have to get a bit closer to Liverpool and Manchester City. The points total cannot be the same as it has been over the past three or four years.
“Ole will probably have to get his hands on a trophy. I think the honeymoon period is certainly over for Ole, and the pressure starts to mount now, particularly with the performances like that over the last week or so.”
