Man Utd chiefs make Haaland top transfer target despite Raiola ‘drawback’
Manchester United chiefs have made Erling Haaland their top transfer target for the 2021 summer window.
However, it would mean dealing with controversial agent Mino Raiola once again – who has brought problems to the club through Paul Pogba.
The Red Devils are making plans for the summer now with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to improve the squad further.
In the last transfer window, United tried to sign Jadon Sancho after a stunning season in the Bundesliga.
That deal ultimately failed with Borussia Dortmund demanding £109m for the Englishman's services.
But United are now prepared to move on from the 20-year-old and are eyeing his club teammate instead.
According to the Mirror, Haaland will be the top transfer target this summer with Solskjaer a huge fan of the striker.
The Norweigan worked with the 20-year-old at Molde and tried to sign him while at RB Salzburg but he chose Dortmund instead.
The youngster has been in tremendous form over 2020, scoring 23 times in the Bundesliga in as many appearances.

The Leeds-born starlet has six in four Champions League appearances and the Red Devils are desperate for his firepower up front.
They also believe that a £70m release clause will come into effect in the summer, meaning they can bypass any negotiations with Dortmund.
But if Old Trafford officials thought Borussia were a problem, they would still have to negotiate with Haaland's troublesome agent – Raiola.
The controversial moneyman is famously Pogba's agent and has been outspoken on his criticism of United and Solskjaer in the past.
However, the Mirror report that the club are positive that this would not put them off going for Haaland.
In fact, United officials believe that any talks with Raiola would be relatively simple and is a gamble Solskjaer is willing to go through with.
Meanwhile, the Norweigan has admitted he wants additions in the January transfer window.
He said: “As a manager, you always hope you can do something but, then again, it's not something that's nailed on.
"It has to be the right player, the right age, he's got to fit into this squad and for the right value.
”We're always looking and the transfer window will be open but it might not happen.“
