Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a summer transfer for a teenager who has made more tackles than Aaron Wan-Bissaka this season.
The current Red Devils right-back is often praised for his one-on-one defensive work and has made 77 tackles in the Premier League this season.
Rennes star Eduardo Camavinga has notched 78 successful challenges over in France, impressing in midfield.
And Spanish outlet AS claim United are interested in the 18-year-old, who has just one year left on his deal at Ligue 1 Rennes.
Real Madrid, Chelsea and PSG are also believed to be keen with Rennes potentially looking at cashing in during the summer transfer window.
Camavinga is believed to prefer a move to Real though that could depend on Zinedine Zidane’s future as Los Blancos boss.
Camavinga has already made his France debut with boss Didier Deschamps saying: "He is a very young player with a lot of great skills and huge talent.
“I already selected him last month, I think he is good enough and that’s why he plays. He needs to show his skills on the pitch, even if we should not ask too much either.
“He is here. We all know the huge competition we have in the midfield but it’s not the others and him, it’s totally him among the others. I will need to make some choices.”
Jonathan Barnett is Camavinga’s agent and he previously said: "At the moment, he's a Rennes player. He likes Rennes and, at the moment, we haven´t really taken to other clubs. It isn’t our position.
