A pitch invader caused Manchester United's clash with Wolves to be temporarily stopped.
The mindless supporter stormed on as the visitors to Old Trafford were pushing for an equaliser in the dying embers of the match after Raphael Varane had put United ahead.
They could be seen jumping out of the home end in the East Stand in the 94th minute. Wolves had possession of the ball in the United box at the time.
After Scott McTominay blocked Mario Lemina's shot, referee Simon Hooper realised what was happening and blew his whistle. The invader then tried to get a touch of the ball.
After realising they weren't going to get to it, the chase begun. Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa helped security apprehend him on the halfway line.
United fans took to Twitter to joke about the invader helping them, with their opponents putting them under the cosh late on. One posted: "Dear me that pitch invader did us a solid."
Another asked: "Who was the pitch invader? Give him a contract. Bruh did the best runs on the pitch." A third wrote: "That pitch invader closed down space more impressively than any of the home team defence."
And a fourth commented: "That might be the first time I've seen a pitch invader serve a tactical purpose."
United managed to hold on to their slender 1-0 lead for the rest of stoppage time, and may count themselves fortunate Andre Onana didn't concede a penalty.
Erik ten Hag's side were largely second best throughout the Monday Night Football clash, but Wolves couldn't find the back of the net despite forcing Onana to make six saves.
It was Varane who got the only goal of the game, heading home from Aaron Wan-Bissaka's dinked cross in the box with a little under 15 minutes of normal time to go.
