Man Utd glamour model shares saucy snap to thank Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United fan and glamour model Katrina Maria has shared a saucy snap to thank Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the Norwegian was sacked by the Red Devils.

The club announced on Sunday morning that Solskjaer had left his role as manager following Saturday's embarrassing 4-1 loss away to Watford.

United sit in seventh place following the defeat and already trail leaders Chelsea by 12 points ahead of their meeting next weekend.

Assistant manager and former United midfielder Michael Carrick will take charge of Tuesday night's Champions League clash with Villarreal with the club hoping to appoint an interim manager until the end of the season.

And Katrina, previously hailed the club's "sexiest fan", posted a thank you message on her Instagram story following Solskjaer's dismissal before posting a racy picture of her wearing a United shirt with his name on the back.

“Thank you for everything! A great man, a true United legend – but it’s time to say goodbye now. Bless you, Ole!!” wrote the glamour model.

Katrina regularly posts her support for United before and after matches as she poses in an array of the club's current and past kits for her 112,000 Instagram followers.

Born in the Faroe Islands, she now lives in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, and was providing support for the national team during the Euros.

Denmark reached the semi-finals in the summer with wins over Wales and the Czech Republic before they were beaten by England at Wembley in July.

Ahead of their quarter-final against the Czech Republic, Katrina promised to continue posting saucy pictures if they were able to reach the semi-finals.

Speaking to DailyStarSport, she said: "I support Denmark because I live there.

"The Faroe Islands, where I'm originally from, is part of Denmark, so you could say in some ways I'm Danish as well.

"And I'm also supporting Iceland, I think they have played well, with a good spirit, and they have already accomplished a lot for such a small nation. I hope to see them win even more.

"At some point I will pose in their shirts if they continue to play well, I will be posting something.

"I hope either Denmark or Iceland end up in the finals, and of course win it all, that would be really fun but I think I might have my hopes too high on this one."
