Manchester United are refusing to rule out late signings despite the arrivals of Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo. Ruben Neves is one player under consideration at Old Trafford. But there are several things to consider as the clock ticks down.
Manchester United have had a sensational transfer window.
But, despite the Hollywood arrivals of Sancho, Varane and Ronaldo, the Red Devils are still open to making more signings.
Express Sport understands a late move for Neves hasn’t entirely been ruled out, despite United being in a race against time to get a deal over the line.
The transfer window slams shut at 11pm.
But United aren’t confident on new faces, with the mood around Old Trafford understood to be pessimistic.

They know they’re running out of time and are happy with their signings so far, with Tom Heaton also joining on a free transfer.
However, any moves – which the club are open to if the right opportunity arises – will be dependent on how their net spend ends up looking.
United went into the transfer window looking to have a net spend of around £75million to£100m, while deals for Ronaldo, Sancho and Varane have set them back £120m.
The impending exit of Daniel James to Leeds will help balance the books but more players need to leave to help the situation.
Donny van de Beek has been tipped to leave although suitors appear to be lacking, with the Dutchman happy to stay put and fight for his place.

United had originally intended to offload Diogo Dalot, who spent last season on loan at AC Milan.
Yet they’re now expecting the right-back to stay put instead, meaning their pursuit of Kieran Trippier has been placed on the back-burner.
Jesse Lingard is also expected to stay unless somebody, West Ham potentially, meets their £25m asking price.
And that means while United are open to more reinforcements, fans shouldn’t get their hopes up too much.
Neves is, however, their last target for the summer transfer window.
Eduardo Camavinga is poised to join Real Madrid, while links to Saul Niguez have been branded as ‘agent talk’ behind the scenes.
Wolves boss Bruno Lage recently opened up on Neves, saying the Portugal international was crucial – while also admitting every player has a price.
“All the top players we have are linked with all the clubs in the world,” he said.
“If you go to Portugal, the top players at Benfica are all linked with moves to Wolves.
“Ruben is happy here and we are happy with him. We are not thinking to let anyone leave, but every player has a price.
“You never know, if Messi changes to PSG then anyone can go.”
