Three Man Utd stars made a young fans Christmas with a surprise video message following a particularly difficult year for the 11-year-old.
Kaden Hussain, from Chelmsford, opened an early Christmas present which he thought was from his mother, but was shocked to see United heroes Paul Pogba, Victor Lindelof and Brandon Williams on a computer screen in front of him.
He was nominated for Laybuy’s ‘Six Weeks of Christmas’ campaign, by his mother, Samantha, which offered deserving fans at-home club experiences during lockdown.
United work in partnership with Laybuy, and decided young Kaden was all too deserving of a reward for dealing with extremely challenging family circumstances on top of the coronavirus pandemic.
Kaden's stepsiblings’ mother became poorly, so he gave up space in his bedroom for them to use.
That took the number of people in Kaden's household up to eight, meaning school became a more vital respite for him, until the pandemic forced him to stay home.
He was also unable to see his father for four months during the pandemic due to him self-isolating with his family.
Lindelof was first on screen and said: "I heard that you’ve been absolutely fantastic during lockdown, you’ve been helping your family and been a star at home.
"Hopefully we are heading towards a brighter future and you can get back to school soon with your friends."

The United players had sent Kaden a new home shirt through the post with his name and the No.1 printed on the back.
Pogba was next to appear and hailed Kaden for being "the man of the house" before adding: "I’m really proud of you. I just want to wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, you’re a top man."
"Hope to see you soon at Old Trafford," Williams added.
Kaden was thrilled with his surprise, and said: "I love Manchester United and Paul Pogba, Victor Lindelöf and Brandon Williams are some of my favourite players.
"I couldn’t believe it when they appeared on the laptop screen wishing me Merry Christmas."
His proud mother, Samantha, said: "My son Kaden has had such a tough 18-months with all the family moving in so it was the most amazing thing to put a huge smile on his face with help from Laybuy and Manchester United.
"Despite the challenges this year has brought, Kaden never complained once. He’s such a good student and loves school, but when the pandemic hit, he was just stuck at home all the time.
"Not only was that massively challenging for Kaden who loves being outdoors and playing football, but he went four months without seeing his dad which of course he found really tough.
"I’m beyond delighted that Laybuy gave him such a special treat!"
Kaden added: "I can’t wait to show my friends these special messages and I’m going to keep them forever!"
