Manchester United face Brighton in the Carabao Cup tonight, just days after beating them at the Amex Stadium in a controversial Premier League fixture. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to tweak his side for tonight’s game, and Express Sport is on hand with all the latest team news.
United scraped through with a win on Saturday after Bruno Fernandes converted a penalty in the 100th minute of the game.
After going behind on the south coast, United led the game until the 95th minute, when Solly Marsch appeared to have earned the Seagulls a point.
However, in the final seconds of the game Harry Maguire saw his header flick off the arm of Neal Maupay, leading to VAR awarding the visitors a penalty.
Speaking after Fernandes tucked the penalty away, Solskjaer conceded that his side was still struggling to find full match fitness.

And the boss is expected to rotate his side tonight to give some of his senior players a break, with new signing Donny van de Beek set to be given a start.
The midfielder has only managed to make the bench so far in his United career, coming on in the final minute of Saturday’s game against Brighton.
But he is expected to be given his first start tonight, and will likely play in a three-man attacking midfield with some other fringe players.

On the right-hand-side of the attacking midfield three, Juan Mata will likely play after finding the net against Luton.
Odion Ighalo, who is very much United’s main striker for cup competitions, will play through the middle as a centre-forward.
Solskjaer is likely to set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Fred and Scott McTominay playing in front of the defence.
United’s bid to sign Alex Telles is still stalling, and Brandon Williams will likely play at left-back tonight.

Luke Shaw is set to be one of the numerous senior first-team players to be rested for tonight’s game, having played 90 minutes in both of United’s league games so far.
In the middle of defence, Harry Maguire will likely keep his place in the team and captain the side, with Eric Bailly alongside him.
Bailly is still returning to full fitness having suffered a knee injury last season, and played just seven minutes against Brighton on Saturday.
Timothy Fosu-Mensah will more than likely play at right-back, while Dean Henderson will start in goal.
Man Utd line-up vs Brighton (4-2-3-1):
Henderson; Fosu-Mensah, Bailly, Maguire, Williams; Fred, McTominay; Mata, Van de Beek, Lingard; Ighalo
