PSG eye Romelu Lukaku – EXCLUSIVE
PSG are weighing up entering the race to land Manchester United’s Belgium international misfit Romelu Lukaku.
The French giants are keen to strengthen their forward line this simmer especially with Edinson Cavani set to move to Atletico Madrid.
They are battling several Premier League sides for the services of Lille hitman Nicolas Pepe and are looking at alternatives in case they miss out.
Lukaku is set to depart Old Trafford this summer after only scoring 15 goals in all competitions in a disappointing campaign that saw him fall out of favour.
United want to recoup £80 million of the £90 million that they paid Everton just two years ago.
Inter are struggling to get close to what United want while PSG would ideally like to pay less because they need to meet Financial Fair Play regulations.
Dillon Hoogewerf joins from Ajax
Manchester United appear to have completed their first signing of the summer with Ajax youngster Dillon Hoogewerf posting a video on social media showing himself in a United top.
Hoogewerf is set to join Manchester United after he decided to reject the proposal of signing professional terms with the Dutch club.
He is due to move to Old Trafford on July 1 with the 16-year-old having impressed for Ajax U17s last season.
He is considered to be one of the most promising prospects in their youth set up.
Fans will hope his team-mate Matthijs de Light follows him and ends up at Old Trafford.
Adrien Rabiot offer on the table
Manchester United have offered Adrien Rabiot a mega deal to beat Tottenham and Juventus to the signing of the Paris Saint-Germain star.
The Red Devils are looking to strengthen this summer after a disappointing campaign which saw them finish sixth in the Premier League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is determined to make changes to his squad with Rabiot on his shortlist.
The 24-year-old is out of contract at PSG and is though to favour a move to the Premier League.
United, Tottenham and Juventus are all interested in signing Rabiot this summer.
French outlet Le 10 Sport claim to have the details of the offer the Red Devils have made to the midfielder.
United are said to be willing to pay Rabiot £170,000-a-week to join Solskjaer’s side.
That would work out to be an annual wage of €10million (£8.86million) with an additional bonus of a €5million signing on fee.
Barcelona make offer to Matthijs de Ligt clear
Manchester United transfer target Matthijs de Ligt has been the subject of a Barcelona decision, according to reports.
Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo have now delved deeper into the transfer saga involving the 19-year-old.
It is said that Barcelona have told De Ligt they are willing to pay him the same money as former Ajax team-mate Frenkie de Jong.
De Jong will be strutting his stuff at the Nou Camp next season after agreeing to join earlier this term.
But Barcelona will not budge on that offer.
They have decided not to launch a formal bid for De Ligt until they know whether or not the teenager wants to sign on.
Barcelona have tried to convince the Ajax star to snub offers from United and PSG, claiming they can offer him a key role in a sporting project.
