Manchester City vs Southampton LIVE: Latest score, team news, odds, how to watch on TV and live stream

Manchester City welcome Southampton to the Etihad on Sunday afternoon with the chance to put some breathing space between themselves and Premier League title challengers Liverpool at the top of the table.

Pep Guardiola’s City have kicked on since the international break, and followed up Monday’s 1-0 win at Tottenham with a 2-0 win in the Carabao Cup against Fulham on Thursday. But they will have to conquer Southampton without key midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, who faces another six weeks out injured with a knee injury suffered in midweek.

Southampton’s previous two games have been goalless draws and they come into this match in 16th place on with just seven points to their name, meaning they sit just two points above the relegation zone. Follow the live action below.

Riyad Mahrez: The Algerian dedicated his match-winner on Monday night against Spurs at Wembley to everyone at Leicester City, his former club. Mahrez has bounced back from his missed penalty at Liverpool with two goals in two league matches, including a trademark long-range finish against Burnley. The 27-year-old is keeping Leroy Sane out of the team, and fancy his chances up against Ryan Bertrand on the right wing.
