Jose Mourinho sent a brutal message to his critics after Tottenham produced another fine display of attacking football with a 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace.
Gareth Bale and Harry Kane were both at the double as Spurs swatted down the Eagles to go sixth in the Premier League table.
Mourinho's side have recorded three wins in a row – scoring nine goals in that time – to put a dismal run of five defeats in six matches firmly behind them.
Spurs' recent resurgence means their bid to finish in the Champions League places is back on track and there has been a noticeable improvement in their brand of football.
Mourinho has fielded a front four of Kane, Bale, Son Heung-min and one of Lucas Moura or Dele Alli in the last three games and the attacking team selection has injected new life into a side which was accused of being "lifeless" and "clueless" last month.
The Portuguese has drawn criticism for his defensive style throughout the season and his broader managerial career – and he went out of his way to hit back at those who doubt him after the win over the Eagles.

"If the stats I was given are correct, 100 goals scored in the season which for a very defensive team, for a very negative team is not bad," said Mourinho during his post-match press conference.
Tottenham scored their 100th goal of the season as Kane poked in from Son's cross to put Spurs 4-0 up against Palace.
The north London club are the second team in Europe's top five leagues to reach the landmark this campaign after reigning treble-holders Bayern Munich, who have scored 106 goals.
Tottenham have also played more matches (44) than any other team in the Premier League because of their participation in the Europa League qualifying rounds.
Unsurprisingly, Kane is their top scorer for the campaign with 19 goals, followed by Son with 17 and Bale with 10.
Spurs return to action on Thursday night for the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie with Dinamo Zagreb.
