Jack Grealish won the hearts and minds of England fans throughout the Euros – but no one can claim to love the Aston Villa ace quite as much as Darcie Philp, or 'Mrs Grealish 69', as she's otherwise known.

Philp, a 28-year-old Londoner, was captured holding up a Man Utd shirt with those immortal words emblazoned on the back midway through extra-time in the European Championship final on Sunday night.

The hilarious jersey, which Philp claims belongs to her sister, was beamed into over 31million living rooms around the UK and millions more around the globe.

She became an instant online hero, and memes of her holding the 'distasteful' top have even been shared by fashion giant Boohoo – which is modelled by Grealish's girlfriend, Sasha Attwood.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Philp jokingly suggested the pair should 'collaborate' and added she was still waiting for the England star to slide into her DM.s

She said: "Everybody wants to be Mrs Grealish.

"We didn't bring the shirt to end up on telly. The shirt is actually my sister's, she was sitting next to me. It comes from a long-running joke.

"My sister claims to be a die-hard [Manchester] United fan and even though she is a United fan she goes on and on about Grealish to wind up her Spurs housemate.

Where do you think Jack Grealish will end up this summer? Let us know in the comments section.

"They just say she's more interested in Grealishes claves than she is any United results. So when it came to her Birthday they chose the Zebra third kit from united to make the most distasteful shirt with the big pattern and requested 'Mrs Grealish 69' to be put on the back.

"When we went to the game I was like we NEED to bring it because I love Grealish but she didn't want to touch it. I said she should wear it but she said 'Darcie, it's a Man-U shirt with Grealish on the back, I will get abused'.

"When I could see him warming up, getting ready to come on I was just so excited I was like 'woooo'. Some people have commented saying they don't get why his name on the shirt but it was always just a stitch-up."

Philp told the MEN she's had plenty of messages since appearing on TV, including nice ones and some 'cheeky ones' saying she is 'old enough' to be his mum.

Grealish hasn't been in contact with her just yet, but that doesn't mean Philp given up hope.

She added: "He hasn't got in touch, I think he is playing hard to get. Maybe his girlfriend wouldn't be best pleased if he did though."
