Newcastle United’s Carabao Cup final appearance to be marked by souvenir edition

Newcastle United are going back to Wembley Stadium.

The club have never played a showpiece final at the new Wembley, with the old place knocked down and a new one built since Ruud Gullit's side were beaten by Manchester United at the 1999 FA Cup final.

It looks like it will be Manchester United who will provide the opposition once again, this time in the Carabao Cup final after Newcastle progressed from their semi-final tie with Southampton.

Supporters will hope it's the start of a new period of success coming just over a year since the Saudi-led takeover of the club and the arrival of Eddie Howe as manager.

Already upsetting the apple cart with their push for a Champions League place next season, Newcastle have an opportunity to claim the first piece of major silverware this year and we'll have a special build-up to get you ready for the big game on February 26.

Featuring a look back at each round, exclusive interviews, pre-match analysis and a long walk through the archives with the history of Newcastle's major finals and Wembley appearances featuring some special old faces, the souvenir edition is the perfect addition ahead of the final.

The Carabao Cup final special is available to pre-order now! CLICK HERE to get your copy as Newcastle United prepare for a historic day out at Wembley. Also available to purchase through local participating retailers in the North East ONLY from February 15th.
