Neymar ‘may have already played final PSG game’ as latest nightmare hurts career
Neymar could have played his final game for Paris Saint-Germain after his career took another negative turn.
The Brazilian playmaker was stretchered off against Lille last month after going over on his right ankle and is now set to miss the rest of the season as a result. His lengthy lay-off could mean that he will never play for the French giants again with Neymar's long-term future at PSG far from certain.
Despite still having over two years remaining on his current contract, the 31-year-old has been strongly linked with a permanent move away from Paris in the summer.

If he does depart before the start of next season then he will have featured for PSG for the last time after the club confirmed on Monday that his campaign is over.
In a statement, PSG announced that Neymar is set to undergo surgery on the injury and will be out for between three and four months. The former Barcelona star has previously injured the same ankle several times in his career.
"Neymar Jr has sustained a number of instances of instability in his right ankle in recent years," explains PSG's official club statement.

"Following his latest sprain on 20 February, the Paris Saint-Germain medical staff recommended a ligament repair operation to avoid a major risk of recurrence. All the experts consulted have confirmed this necessity.
"The surgery will be performed in the next few days at the ASPETAR hospital in Doha. It will take 3 to 4 months before he can return to training with the team."
Manager Christophe Galtier had been concerned after Neymar was stretchered off during the 4-3 win over Lille in February, admitting: "This is not bad luck. There are always reasons for injuries – the schedule, the sequence of games. It is never random. He is being examined to know the severity of his sprain."
Neymar suffered an ankle injury at the World Cup in Qatar and also missed 12 matches due to a three-month lay-off caused by a similar issue last season. He has spent the last six years in France after joining PSG from Barcelona in 2017 for a world record £200million fee.
Since that move, Neymar has scored 118 goals and provided 77 assists in 173 appearances from the club as well as winning four league titles amongst his 13 honours whilst playing in France.
