Piers Morgan slams Leeds flops as ‘selfish, arrogant p****’ after ignoring fan

Piers Morgan has slammed Leeds United's players after a video went viral of the squad ignoring a young fan.

Leeds were battered by Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon and Javi Gracia's men now looked doomed to face the drop. However, as Leeds headed back up north, one fan had been hoping to bag a couple of autographs from his heroes.

And as the Leeds players boarded the team bus from their hotel, one by one each player ignored the young fan. And Piers has now slammed their actions, writing on Twitter: "Selfish arrogant p*****"

And Piers wasn't the only one to criticise the players. "This is poor form. The fans make the club. Stopping to have a selfie or say hello takes seconds," one footy fan added.

"This is an accurate representation of how Leeds United has been treating me for my entire life. The ungrateful w******. Feel for that little lad," a second fumed. And a third said: "Remember when Bielsa had them picking up rubbish so they could see how hard supporters worked?"

Another fumed: "A humble man [Bielsa] who hated the attention and barely spoke the language but knew a couple of seconds in his presence would give fans a memory for life. I loved everything about what he made us and I hate everything we’ve become since he left."

Leeds remain outside of the relegation zone, but they could slip into the bottom three on Monday evening if Leicester and Everton don't draw.

Gracia's side have dropped crucial points to Leicester and Bournemouth in the last two weeks. Leeds have four games to save themselves, involving trips to Man City and West Ham.

Leeds must also welcome Newcastle and Tottenham to Elland Road – and the Whites need results if they to have any hope of returning to the Championship.
