Manchester United could have a dilemma on their hands in the summer if they are to appoint Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager.
The Argentine has been heavily linked with being the successor of Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season.
Pochettino was reportedly approached to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the Old Trafford dugout earlier this season but remained at Paris Saint-Germain, with Rangnick being given the job on an interim basis until a long-term appointment is found.
And it appears Pochettino may finally get his return to the Premier League as RMC Sport journalist Daniel Raiola has revealed that Zinedine Zidane is expected to be PSG boss by June, at the very latest.
Thus, the door is open for Poch to leave for United.
However, the former Tottenham Hotspur boss may have to mend bridges with Cristiano Ronaldo if he does become Red Devils manager.
Speaking in 2015, the 49-year-old convincingly said that Lionel Messi is better than the Portuguese forward.
“Messi is this type of player, for me the best in the world today, better than Cristiano Ronaldo and he can decide a game,” said the former Southampton boss.
HAVE YOUR SAY! Should Manchester United appoint Mauricio Pochettino as manager? Comment below.
"Maradona, for my generation, is always a very special player. When I was a child Maradona was like a god.
"It is difficult in your mind to change your view and say Messi is better or Ronaldo is better, but right now Messi is the best in the world."
But it may not be too hard for Pochettino to get in Ronaldo’s good books if he is appointed as United manager, purely because the former Real Madrid star is completely against Rangnick staying on past this season.

Daily Star exclusively revealed that Ronaldo has told the higher powers at United that he will consider his future at the club depending on who is appointed as manager in the summer.
The Red Devils are considering Leicester City’s Brendan Rodgers, Erik ten Hag of Ajax and, of course, Pochettino.
If the latter can fill Ronaldo with confidence and put his previous comparison about Messi in the past then he has every chance of guiding United back to their glory days.
