Premier League announces fixtures amendments for October with Arsenal vs Man City, and the first Merseyside and Manchester derbies of the season moved for TV coverage

The Premier League has released its latest fixture amendments covering the month of October.
A number of big games have been moved to accommodate for TV coverage, and to avoid clashes as European competitions get back underway.
Last season Arsenal and Man City jostled for supremacy at the top of the league, and the first meeting of the current campaign could prove to have implications on the title race.
That clash from the Emirates will now take place at 4:30pm on Sunday 8 October 2023 to be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Meanwhile the first Merseyside derby of the 2023-24 Premier League season will now take place on Sunday 21 October at 12:30pm.
The first Manchester derby since the FA Cup final will take place on Sunday 29th October
The maiden Merseyside derby of the season has also been moved to accommodate for broadcasting
Meanwhile Brighton have seen their clash with Fulham rescheduled due to their qualifying for European football

The maiden Manchester derby of the season has also been rescheduled due to broadcasting requirements, with United vs City now taking place on Sunday 29 October at 3:30pm.
United enjoyed a winning start to the Premier League campaign against Wolves on Monday, as Erik ten Hag prepares to lead the club in the Champions League for the first time.
As such, the club’s visit to newly-promoted Sheffield United will take play on Sunday 22 October at 2pm live on Sky Sports, if that club are not also scheduled to play mid-week in the Champions League group stage.
Should that be the case, United’s visit to Bramall Lane will instead take place the previous day, Saturday the 21, at 8pm.
Brighton, West Ham and Liverpool have all had their respective fixtures for the last weekend of October amended as a result of their participation in this year’s Europa League.
