Raphael Varane’s brother played an “utterly brilliant” role in sealing the defender’s move to Manchester United, according to La Liga football expert Graham Hunter. Varane is set to join United in a deal that could rise to £43million. The 28-year-old was available for a cut-price due to entering the final year of his contract at Real Madrid.
