England warmed up for their thumping start to the World Cup by watching comedy duo Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan’s Three Lions special.

Gareth Southgate’s squad took in the pair’s Sky Max show at their team hotel in Doha last night before hammering Iran 6-2 this afternoon.

While there, comedian Beckett stuns Chelsea’s Mason Mount and Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham by scoring a couple of screamers.

However, the starstruck Gunner subsequently lets himself down when he tells Harry Kane that he wishes he played for Arsenal.

The pair then take on Manchester City defender Kyle Walker in a nearest the flag competition at his local driving range – with Ranganathan snatching an unlikely victory.

Insiders said the squad and staff watched the show on a big screen at their temporary Qatar home before coasting to victory. Southgate is keen to ensure they have a number of planned activities and events to enjoy during their down time.
