Richarlison’s heartfelt gesture to young Everton fan he spotted outside house

Richarlison has become a fan favourite at Everton since joining from Watford in 2018 – and his latest gesture has left the Goodison Park faithful in awe of their star man.

The Brazilian’s stock was already high with Toffees supporters after he opened the scoring in their first win away at Liverpool for 22 years back in February.

And now he has drawn even more praise for a classy gesture involving a young fan who went to see his house on Wednesday.

The youngster, named Charlie, arrived at Richarlison’s pad expecting to simply take a glance at one of his favourite footballer’s glamorous houses before returning to his own home.

Little did he know, however, that Richarlison himself would spot him from the window and shout: “Wait! I’m bringing him a shirt!”

He stuck to his word and quickly made his way down to the front of the property, where he handed Charlie a signed shirt before posing for a quick snap.

While he may have opened himself up to even more fans flocking to his house in the future, Richarlison made the fan’s day and has been duly praised for the gesture.

Rosemary Campbell, Charlie’s mother, told the Liverpool Echo: “We went to Crosby beach for a walk. Charlie is a huge Everton fan and he idolises Richarlison. We took a walk down the road so Charlie could see Richarlison's home.

“Richarlison happened to be at the window of the house waving to my son. He then realised my son was so happy to see him, and he told us to wait there so he could bring him a shirt.
