Ronaldo baffles fans with ‘accidental’ Instagram live as 700k watch him in sauna

Cristiano Ronaldo has baffled fans with an 'accidental' Instagram live video as the Manchester United ace stared blankly down the camera to 700k viewers.

Ronaldo, 37, boasts an incredible 401m following on the social media platform, making him the highest followed individual account ahead of Kylie Jenner and Ballon d'Or rival Lionel Messi.

But it seems the global icon is used to palming off the responsibility of running his Instagram to his social specialists as Ronaldo was left bamboozled at trying to end the live video.

Fans were treated to a quick glimpse of his multi-million-pound mansion as well as his garden and private sauna before the Portuguese legend abruptly ended the minute-long self-recording.

Inundated with supporters spamming goat emojis, Ronaldo was seen pouring water over some sauna stones as viewers were treated to the accidental topless video.

But former Man Utd team-mate Rio Ferdinand cottoned onto his mishap pretty quickly commenting: "What you doing bro."

And fans were also swift in replying to the self-recording with many questioning if Ronaldo meant to press the live button.

"Ronaldo how 400 million followers on Instagram and he doesn’t even know how it works," joked one supporter.

"Why’s Ronaldo just baking off in a sauna in a shed not saying a single word on his Instagram live," quipped another.

"Only Ronaldo could get me to watch an Instagram live of him doing absolutely nothing," commented a third.

While one disappointed United fan replied: "The GOAT had an Instagram live and I missed it."
