Roy Keane has called into question the treatment of Manchester United players Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood after they were snubbed for an England call-up for the Three Lions' World Cup qualifiers.
Gareth Southgate’s men are facing Albania and San Marino this weekend in their Group I matches, but the two Red Devils attackers were left out of the squad.
Both players are part of a struggling side under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and Keane feels that their admittance from the England side is a result of a lack of game-time in the northwest.
The Irishman said via ITV Sport prior to the match: "Every case is different, Sancho hasn't been getting many minutes recently.
"The issue I suppose with Rashford and Greenwood is that whenever they're selected it seems to be an issue.
"I know they've had injuries, I understand that, but we know their quality and when Gareth is asked about them he says 'yeah I spoke to Marcus…' It seems like a big conversation."
The former Nottingham Forest and United midfielder added: "It's as if there's something going wrong, there's something amiss with some of these United lads.

"A change of scenery would probably have done them the world of good, getting away from the negativity around United now with the bad results.
"So this idea that they need to stay at their club to do training… I think for the younger lads no, if they're fully fit then come away, change of scenery and get some minutes under your belt."

Sancho has failed to hold down a place in the starting lineup at Old Trafford ever since his move from Borussia Dortmund over the summer for £73million.
Greenwood, meanwhile, has appeared 14 times in all competitions, but only registered four goals.
They were left out while Emile Smith Rowe, Tammy Abraham, and Phil Foden earned a place among England’s attackers.
