Serge Gnabry ‘considers Bayern Munich exit amid interest from Real Madrid, Liverpool and Juventus’… with the former Arsenal flop in the final 18 months of his contract with the German champions

  • Serge Gnabry is out of contract at German champions Bayern Munich in 2023
  • Real Madrid, Liverpool and Juventus have all expressed interest in signing him
  • Bayern are trying to agree a new deal with the winger but he is open to leaving
  • Gnabry has scored 14 goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions this term

Serge Gnabry is reportedly thinking about leaving Bayern Munich following interest from around Europe.

The 26-year-old’s contract at the Allianz Arena expires in the summer of 2023, with talks currently ongoing over an extension.

Regarded as a flop at Arsenal, Gnabry has transformed into one of Europe’s best wingers at Bayern Munich with 61 goals and 40 assists in 163 games.

According to Goal, Real Madrid have been keeping a close eye on the German and have made contact with his representatives about his availability.

The report adds that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a ‘keen admirer’ of Gnabry and sees him as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah if the Egyptian leaves Anfield.

Juventus are also credited with interest and could reportedly try to agree a loan deal with Bayern this summer ahead of a free transfer 12 months later.

Goal claim that Bayern have been trying to agree a new contract with Gnabry but are not anywhere near to reaching an arrangement. The winger is said to be open to a move away in the summer.

Gnabry got a goal and an assist in Bayern’s 4-1 win over Freiburg last weekend, taking his tally to 14 goals and 10 assists in all competitions this season.

‘I’m very confident that he’ll stay,’ Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann said last week. I think from a football point of view he has everything that he needs.

‘He has a coach that likes him as a person and as a player and he has teammates whom he gets along with very well privately.

‘He feels very comfortable here, it’s a matter of talks between the club and the manager but I do believe that we’ll find a solution.’
