Sir Bobby Charlton’s brother says ‘there’s a place reserved in heaven’ for him
Sir Bobby Charlton's brother Tommy knows there is a special place in heaven for the "loved" footballing icon.
Tommy, 77, is the last remaining brother of four footballers including Sir Bobby who passed away at the age of 86 on Saturday following complications from dementia. Tributes have been made to the former midfielder from the footballing community, including minutes of silence in the Premier League.
The Manchester United and England icon's death comes three years after the Charlton family lost another icon in the form of Jack and months after oldest brother Gordon.

Tommy told The Mirror: "If ever there was a place reserved in heaven, it is for Bob. He is going to be up there. He was world famous, he was so loved.
"He and Jack were everybody’s heroes, they were idols to other people. But to me, they were my brothers. That is where my heart is, with my brothers."
As well as Jack and Bobby, Tommy had a third brother in the form of eldest Gordon, who passed away earlier this year.
The family had grown up on Beatrice Street in Northumberland with football taking both Jack and Bobby away from their younger brother.
He added: "I am a little bit annoyed that football took them away from me when we were young.
"From the age of 10, I would see them when they came home from their clubs, or we went to visit. Other families were growing up together."
Sky Sports is bringing you 500 live football games to watch, as well access to Cricket, Golf, F1, Boxing, NFL, NBA and more across eight dedicated channels. Sky Sports is the only way to watch all the action this year.

A rift between Jack and Bobby which began following the passing of their mother Cissie in 1996 was healed in a memorable public moment.
Jack presented his fellow World Cup winner with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year in 2008.
The Leeds icon said: "Bobby Charlton was the best player I've ever seen. He's me brother."
