Harry Kane is the number one striker in the Premier League.
That is the opinion of Tottenham Hotspur legend Clive Allen, who also reckons Kane's partnership with Son Heung-min is the "best" in the division.
Allen, 61, is a man who knows a thing or two about how to put the ball in the back of the net. The 1987 Player of the Year scored 194 goals, including 60 for Spurs, in a long and successful career that also took in stops at QPR, Crystal Palace, Manchester City, Chelsea and West Ham United. And he reckons that Kane is still the best striker around in the Premier League, even with the arrival of Nordic Meat Shield, Erling Haaland.

Asked whether Kane is the best out-and-out centre-forward in the top-flight, Allen told Daily Star Sport (via cheekypunter.com): "Absolutely, you look at his record, he did only score 17 last year which by his standards is disappointing but look at the assist and the combination with Son, which is the best in the Premier League for me.
"So that pair in tandem and the backup in place, Harry will get chances and when that happens he scores goals. So no doubt for me that he's the best Premier League striker going into the season."

Kane started last season slowly amid the fallout from his failed move to Manchester City. Yet the 29-year-old still found the back of the net an impressive 27 times in all competitions, making him the club's top scorer.
It was the eighth consecutive season that the England captain broke the 20-goal barrier for the north Londoners as they came fourth to secure a Champions League spot.
Kane and boss Antonio Conte will be hoping to improve on that this time around while also mounting a serious challenge in Europe.
