Details of Thomas Partey's Arsenal contract have emerged ahead of his move to the Emirates Stadium.

The Ghana international is on the brink of becoming the Gunners' sixth signing of the summer after the Premier League big boys agreed to meet his release clause.

The north Londoners will pay £52.5million for the 27-year-old, whose services they tried to acquire on multiple occasions this summer.

Partey has already undergone his medical and is said to be putting the finishing touches on his deal at the Emirates.

The finalisation of personal terms, however, is said to be a mere formality as a provisional agreement has been in place for some time.

It's understood Partey – who joined Atletico as an 18-year-old – will pen a four-year deal with the current FA Cup holders.

And according to The Mirror, the Ghanaian will pocket a whopping £260,000-a-week.

The former Odometah FC's new wage packet is a staggering four times what he took home in Madrid.

Partey's lucrative deal will make him Arsenal's third-highest player behind Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Partey's arrival at the Emirates will pave the way for Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira to leave the Emirates.

The former Sampdoria man has been earmarked by Atletico as a like-for-like replacement for Partey, who leaves the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium after nine years.

Torreira is expected to join the La Liga giants on loan for the remainder of the season, although it's unknown if they'll have the option to permanently acquire his services after the end of the campaign.

Partey could make his Arsenal debut a week on Saturday when Mikel Arteta's men travel to Manchester to take on Premier League title hopefuls Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
