Newcastle begin their Premier League campaign with a home game against Unai Emery’s Aston Villa and face a brutal opening month. 

The fixture list has been revealed, subject to changes once the TV schedule has been finalised, and it is a tricky start for the Magpies with Manchester City away before Liverpool at home in August. 

That said, the run-in looks kind for Eddie Howe’s men as they finish the season with games against Sheffield United, Burnley, Brighton and Brentford.
