Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho could face a transfer tussle with Mauricio Pochettino.
The former Spurs boss, who led the club to the final of the Champions League in 2019, looks set to take over at PSG after they decided to part ways with Thomas Tuchel on Christmas Eve.
It is likely that the Argentine will receive plenty of financial backing should he accept a move to the French capital, and he is certain to look to the Premier League.
In addition, with Spurs being the closest club to his heart in England, he could find himself trying to poach some of their best players in his pursuit of European glory.
Daily Star Sport have now taken a look at the potential leavers.
The most obvious Spurs to PSG transfer would be for out-of-form midfielder Dele Alli.
Mourinho does not currently see the England international as part of his strongest team in north London, and stated on Wednesday that he was creating problems for his own team on the pitch.
Not only did Alli play some of his best football under Pochettino, but PSG have already been linked with a loan deal for the 24-year-old despite his poor displays of late.
It is likely that Mourinho would be happy in the temporary departure, which could reignite Alli’s career.
Although he is the current Tottenham captain, Lloris could be tempted by a move back home.
The 33-year-old was a stalwart under Pochettino between 2014 and 2019, and is would likely listen to his former boss if he was approached over a potential deal.
However, PSG are not currently in need of a new goalkeeper with Keylor Navas impressing since his move from Real Madrid last season.
In addition, Mourinho would not be at all keen to allow Lloris to leave.
Christian Eriksen to PSG is another possibility given his position at Inter.
The Denmark international has been vocal about his lack of game time, forcing a stern reply from Antonio Conte as his side aim for Serie A glory.
It is likely that Pochettino will be aware of the situation, and Inter would no doubt be pleased to reduce their wage bill with Eriksen out of favour.
Harry Kane & Son Heung-min
The two players Spurs fans will be most worried about leaving are Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
The duo have proved themselves to be two of the best forwards in the Premier League under both Pochettino and now Mourinho – and look certain to stay.
Although the pair will be desperate for silverware, they are unlikely to consider doing it anywhere else while results remain positive in north London.
