Tottenham winger Bryan Gil 'is wanted on loan by Valencia'

Tottenham winger Bryan Gil ‘is wanted on loan by Valencia’ just six months after joining for £25m… with Nice ‘also keen on the young Spanish star’ as Spurs boss Antonio Conte lines up deal for Adama Traore

  • Valencia have registered an interest in signing Tottenham winger Bryan Gil
  • Gil was Tottenham’s first outfield signing of the summer transfer window
  • The 20-year-old forward signed for the club in a £25million deal from Sevilla
  • He has made 19 appearances, scoring one goal and registering one assist
  • Valencia will have to battle it out with Nice as they are interested in him, too

Valencia have reportedly registered an interest in signing Tottenham winger Bryan Gil on loan despite the fact he signed for the north London club just six months ago.

Gil was Tottenham’s first outfield signing of the summer transfer window – signing for Spurs in a £25million deal from Sevilla.

However, he has failed to cement a regular place in the first XI under Italian manager Antonio Conte.

Gil’s first-team opportunities could dwindle further following the potential arrival of powerhouse Adama Traore from Wolves.

Therefore, the 20-year-old could be interested in completing a loan move to get more minutes under his belt.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Valencia are pushing to sign Gil on loan but Tottenham have not yet decided whether to let him go or not.

Additionally, Nice have registered an interest in signing Gil on loan – but it is unlikely a permanent option will be written into the deal, according to L’Equipe.

Despite making most of his appearances from the bench, Tottenham are confident the 20-year-old Spaniard will succeed at the club in the long term.

Nevertheless, Gil has scored one goal and registering one assist during the 19 appearances he has made so far this term.
