Manchester United fans have begged Erik ten Hag to rest Casemiro against Crystal Palace to prevent him missing the crunch clash with Arsenal through suspension.
The Brazilian midfielder has been hugely influential to United’s success this season since he signed from Real Madrid in a £70million move last summer.
United face a trip to Selhurst Park on Wednesday night before returning to the capital four days later to play Premier League leaders Arsenal at the Emirates.

Casemiro has been one of the first names on the teamsheet for Ten Hag since his move from Real Madrid in the summer
Casemiro is one of the first names of the teamsheet and United fans are fearing he will pick up a fifth yellow card of the season against Palace and miss the trip to Arsenal as a result.
Players who receive five yellow cards within their team’s first 19 league fixtures pick up a suspension.
United have the second most bookings in the Premier League this season with 46, behind Fulham, who have 49 yellows and a red.
Fellow Brazilian Fred is also also at risk of a suspension, raising the chances that Ten Hag could be without two of his key midfielders against Arsenal.
United fans have flocked to social media ahead of the game to plead Ten Hag to leave Casemiro out on Wednesday night.

One user said: ‘Rest Casemiro vs Crystal Palace’ before adding: ‘One booking and he misses Arsenal away, we cannot risk that.’
Another said: ‘A tough one but we can do Fred McTominay against Crystal Palace, we cannot afford to have Casemiro absent.’
A third added: ‘We don’t need Casemiro to beat Palace tbh… Bring back McTominay/Eriksen midfield on Wednesday’.
And a fourth said: ‘Start McTominay. Maybe give Zidane some minutes. Its crucial to have Casemiro available for when we play Arsenal.’
United moved to within a point of Manchester City with a 2-1 victory in the derby on Saturday – and they can close the gap on Arsenal to six points should they win on Sunday.
Ten Hag’s men are the only side to beat Mikel Arteta’s Gunners in the Premier League so far this season.
The match at the Emirates could be first versus second come Sunday if United beat Palace, City fail to claim three points at home to Tottenham on Thursday and Newcastle drop points at Palace on Saturday.
