The pair tussled for the ball on the flank after the Los Blancos star had tried to move past Alexander Arnold with a stepover. He then slowed down to allow his opponent to lunge in for a tackle.
As Alexander-Arnold stuck his leg out to win the ball, though, Vinicius Jr knocked it forward to race clear and leave the Englishman chasing after him.
Fans were quick to mock the Liverpool man on social media after the incident, with one tweeting: "Vini toying with Trent like a piece of meat." Another added: "Vinicius is torturing Trent tonight."

As for Vinicius Jr, the 22-year-old has a fine record against Liverpool and has yet to lose to them so far in his career. In four appearances against Liverpool before Wednesday he has five goals and one assist.
Those numbers include a brace and an assist in February as Carlo Ancelotti's side came from behind to romp to a 5-2 victory at Anfield in the first leg.
