West Ham have reportedly accepted a bid from Ajax worth at least £20m for Sebastian Haller, and David Moyes is eyeing up Marko Arnautovic as his replacement.
Haller has once again struggled for form this season, scoring just three goals in the Premier League, though adding regularly in cup games.
The Ivory Coast international broke West Ham’s transfer record when he completed a switch worth £45m.
But the Hammers are set to take a massive hit on the 26-year-old 18 months later.
It is understood that Haller is in the final stages of agreeing a move worth around £20m to Dutch champions Ajax.
He is now clear to discuss personal terms with the Eredivisie giants and undergo a medical, meaning he could even feature against PSV on Sunday.
Moyes already appears to be eyeing a replacement for Haller, and is reportedly keen on resigning Austrian striker Arnautovic, who is believed to be looking to leave the Chinese league and return to Europe.
According to talkSPORT, Arnautovic is keen on returning to England, and a move back to West Ham makes sense given his record for the Hammers.
Haller netted a Goal of the Season contender last month with an outrageous overhead kick against Crystal Palace
But that did little to impress his manager Moyes, who insisted at the time that he needs to contribute more frequently.
"I'd have liked him to get a tap-in in the first half when the goalie parried one out, when nobody was on it to get the rebound!" Moyes said after the Palace draw on December 16.
"I might surprise you by saying I wasn't that surprised, Seb has an incredible ability to get his leg up really high and score goals like that. It's the tap ins I want him to score as well.
"We need him to be a big part, we needed somebody to come up with the goods. We looked for large parts of the game we were huffing and puffing but didn't look like we'd get anything.
"He's been trying to settle, it takes time. Sometimes they are too big, we expect a lot from him as well. We want his goals in the Premier League, not just cup games."
