Former UFC star turned to OnlyFans to fix ‘big financial problems’ amid pandemic

Former UFC star Cindy Dandois set up an OnlyFans account when times got tough during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.

With both fighting and training impossible with all the public health restrictions, the Belgian mixed martial artist, nicknamed 'Battlecat', traded shorts and gloves for lingerie as she looked to fix what she described as "big financial problems".

"I lost my gym during this Covid-lockdown, no help from our government and fights cancelled, leaving me with big financial problems," the now 36-year-old wrote on Twitter.

"I decided to make an OnlyFans so I can collect the money to re-open the gym and give the youngsters their home back."

Dandois told fans on Instagram what to expect, insisting that she wouldn't be doing anything too pornographic due to her teaching career.

"If you want to support me, go and subscribe. There will be pictures and little messages and the possibility to chat with me privately … BUT don’t ask for porn cause that’s a no go … since I am still a full-time teacher I will not post too crazy stuff," she said.

Dandois has an impressive professional MMA record of 16 wins from 22 fights. She made her UFC debut in April 2017 where she lost via unanimous decision to Alexis Davis, which turned out to be her only fight with the company as she was released just a few months later.

She bounced back with four straight victories, earning an invite to Bellator MMA, though lost her one and only bout with the company against Olga Rubin. Four submission victories then followed in 2019 before the pandemic hit.

Since her dabble with OnlyFans, Dubois has fought twice more, though lost both times, once to Kaitlin Young and again to Kayla Harrison. She hasn't fought since, though you can still find her 'in action' online if you search hard enough *wink*.
