Jorge Masvidal had issued a savage remark to Conor McGregor with the pair's bitter feud intensifying.

The Irishman fired a shot at the 37-year-old recently after he pulled out of the eagerly-anticipated fight at UFC 269 against Leon Edwards due to an injury.

He tweeted: "It’s also Jorge (Masvidal's) birthday but he is a b**** for bottling the fight against Leon. F*** your 'injury', you sign to fight, you fight.

"Strip that belt from him that he never even won. Hoe in a housecoat. The f*** was that about as well? Last season's Versace house coat!"

Now the welterweight fighter has hit back at the always outspoken McGregor during a conversation on the MMA Hour’s YouTube channel.

"I think he's a bitter old man, just staring at the TV all day. It sucks for him that he's broken," he remarked.

"He's gotten broken so many times that he can't put himself back together, as far as fighting goes. Go have a regular life bro, be a celebrity."

Masvidial went onto add that he believes McGregor is bitter towards Edwards, with the pair both signed to the Paradigm Management group.

He added: "He's mad because (Leon) is signed to whatever the f*** his company is called, and they were going to collect the biggest paycheck they were ever going to collect off my ass beating Leon's ass.

"It's not going to happen anymore, so you can see the bitterness getting exposed, but he just picked the wrong dude.

"He could still get this paycheck, but this corny ass midget doesn't want to f**king tell his guy 'Yo, just wait up, and f**king fight him later and we'll still get this paycheck.'

"It might even be bigger because there's more push behind it, but he's a corny midget f***, so whatever."

Edwards is in scintillating form and is unbeaten in his last ten fights in the octagon, and ahead of the contest, Masvidal pulled out of the contest due to an undisclosed injury.
