And what about Man United &#8216;diving&#8217;?: Listen to\u00a0&#8216;It&#8217;s All Kicking Off&#8217;, Mail Sport&#8217;s new podcast\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Erling Haaland made it into the PFA&#8217;s Premier League Team of the Year for the first time after a stellar debut season with Manchester City that saw him score an astonishing 36 goals in just 35 top flight games.<\/p>\n<p>The annual PFA awards were announced on Tuesday, with Haaland also scooping up the PFA Player of the Year, while Arsenal star Bukayo Saka won the PFA Young Player of the Year.<\/p>\n<p>The accolade is voted for by Premier League players, with the team of the year compiled of the most popular options.<\/p>\n<p>Haaland was joined by four other of his title-winning team-mates, while Saka was also awarded a place as one of four Gunners after 14 goals and 11 assists in their title push that ultimately ended in heartbreak.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Harry Kane was voted into the XI despite his summer move to Bayern Munich\u00a0thanks to a stellar campaign where he netted 30 league goals for Tottenham &#8211; the joint-most he has scored in a single season in his career.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/29\/15\/74837099-12457481-image-a-13_1693320567386.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Erling Haaland has been named in the PFA&#8217;s Premier League Team of the Year for the first time<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/29\/15\/74837109-12457481-image-a-14_1693320569640.jpg\" height=\"416\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The Norwegian goal machine enjoyed a stellar debut season, scoring 36 goals in 35 games<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/29\/15\/74837113-12457481-image-a-15_1693320572721.jpg\" height=\"456\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Arsenal star Bukayo Saka was one of four Arsenal players to make the XI as they came second<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>This all came despite a chaotic and dismal season at Spurs as the club went through three managers and finished in eighth place.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Kane was joined by his England team-mate Kieran Trippier, who helped guide Newcastle back into the Champions League for the first time since the 2003-04 campaign.<\/p>\n<p>He lines up at right back, alongside City&#8217;s defensive pairing of John Stones and Ruben Dias, with the two title-winners contributing to the top flight&#8217;s joint-tightest defence last season.<\/p>\n<p>William Saliba completed the back four, with the Frenchman&#8217;s importance to Arsenal demonstrated by their title challenge collapsing in his absence.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Gunners picked up 66 points from the 27 league games he played in, while they accrued just 18 from 11 matches without him.<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal skipper Martin Odegaard won a place in the XI after 15 goals, and he was joined by City duo Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri in midfield, with the Belgian appearing in the XI for the fifth time after supplying 18 assists.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Haaland, Kane and Saka link-up in the front three, meaning there was no space for Marcus Rashford.<\/p>\n<p>This is despite the England forward contributing 17 goals and five assists as he took his game to new levels, while helping Manchester United return to the Champions League.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/29\/15\/74837163-12457481-image-a-16_1693320592252.jpg\" height=\"449\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Man United&#8217;s Marcus Rashford was snubbed despite contributing 17 goals and five assists<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/08\/29\/15\/74837173-12457481-image-a-17_1693320595543.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Ruben Dias and John Stones line-up centre back thanks to their formidable partnership for City<\/p>\n<p>No Liverpool players were in the final team either after a difficult campaign for Jurgen Klopp&#8217;s side.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Despite an impressive late season run the Reds came fifth and missed out on the Champions League for the first time since 2015-16.<\/p>\n<p>In goal, David de Gea was snubbed despite winning the Golden Glove thanks to 17 clean sheets, while Alisson Becker, Nick Pope and Ederson also missed out in spite of highly-impressive seasons.<\/p>\n<p>The No 1 shirt in this team was ultimately awarded to Aaron Ramsdale as the former Bournemouth and Sheffield United stopper kept 14 clean sheets, while he also made several incredible saves over the course of the season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span><span>Full XI (4-3-3): Ramsdale;
