Roy Keane has jokingly labelled Theo Walcott as ‘naive and young’ after the former Arsenal star claimed his former side are currently a ‘bigger club’ than Manchester United.<\/p>\n
Walcott, who recently announced his retirement from football, joined Sky Sports for their coverage of Arsenal’s crunch home tie against Man United.<\/p>\n
Ahead of the meeting of the two rivals, fellow pundit Micah Richards asked Walcott for his opinion about which of the two sides are currently the biggest club.<\/p>\n
Walcott, who played for Arsenal between 2006 to 2018, pointed to the Gunners finishing as runners-up in the Premier League last season behind Man City.<\/p>\n
‘Arsenal finished above United so for me, right now, you would have to say them,’ Walcott said.<\/p>\n

Keane and Walcott’s comments came ahead of Arsenal’s home clash against Man United\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I think for me they are a club that are a bit more organised.’\u00a0<\/p>\n
Former Man United captain Keane quickly interjected ‘so naive and young, so naive and young, you’ll learn’ to the 34-year-old.<\/p>\n
Walcott, attempting to ignore Keane’s teasing, adding ‘If you are talking overall, United have definitely topped that.’<\/p>\n
Following Walcott’s answer, Richards quickly asked the same question to Keane with the 52-year-old producing a typically deadpan response.<\/p>\n
‘Of course it’s United, don’t be silly,’ Keane said.<\/p>\n
The comments came ahead of one of the Premier League’s most anticipated fixtures due to the fierce rivalry between United and the Gunners.<\/p>\n
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side are seeking a third win in their opening four matches as they bid to keep pace at the top of the table.<\/p>\n
