<\/p>\nMikel Arteta has backed Kai Havertz to come good at Arsenal – in the same way that he won over his wife.<\/p>\n
The former Chelsea man has struggled since moving to the Emirates for a reported fee of \u00a365million and missed another sitter in their 3-1 win over Manchester United on Sunday. <\/p>\n
The 24-year-old is sure to be feeling the pressure with a new fanbase, but his Spanish boss has no fears thanks to his own experiences – in love.<\/p>\n
Arteta shares two children with wife Lorena Bernal, an actress, television host and model – but their relationship didn't come easy.<\/p>\n

Arteta told Sky Sports: "I said to him yesterday, things are hard in the beginning. When I met my wife, in the beginning it was hard to conquer her and I had to try and keep messaging.<\/p>\n
"In the end, she said yes, she wanted to be together and it was beautiful. If it is a yes on the first day, it is not that great. I think the crowd was really good with him today."<\/p>\n
Asked how he won over his wife, Arteta responded: "Being persistent and determined!"<\/p>\n
