<\/p>\nMatt Le Tissier's conspiracy theorist musings have irked former Sky colleague Jeff Stelling after the ex-Soccer Saturday host called out the Southampton legend's 'bulls***' claims.<\/p>\n
Le Tissier has embedded himself in the conspiracy theory community in recent years and become very vocal expressing his views on certain controversial matters. After 15 years on Soccer Saturday, the 54-year-old was sacked from his pundit role having refused to wear a badge supporting Black Lives Matter and suggested certain Covid-19 sufferers were actors.<\/p>\n
But the latest topic up for scrutiny according to Le Tissier concerns the 9\/11 terrorist bombings on the World Trade Centre. Monday marks the 22-year anniversary of the tragic attack, which was found to have been carried out by 19 al-Qaeda hijackers originating largely from Saudi Arabia, but also Egypt, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n
However, the once-hailed Saints talisman isn't convinced by that conclusion and shared videos supporting the notion that the attack was in fact orchestrated by the United States government, writing "what a thread" in amazement. <\/p>\n

Stelling replied to his former associate on X (formerly Twitter): "Yes Tiss total and absolute bulls***", in a since-deleted post. And the beloved host \u2013 who will begin his new job at talkSPORT in December \u2013 attracted scrutiny for what was misconstrued as his apparent suggestion he agreed with Le Tissier's latest conspiracy project.<\/p>\n
But Stelling was quick to clarify it was his old work-mate's assertion he felt was wide of the mark. Following up on his initial response, the 68-year-old later wrote: "Let\u2019s get this clear – what Tiss says in this case is bulls***!!"<\/p>\n

"Sorry if there was any ambiguity. I disagree with Tiss 100 per cent," he added. Asked by one social media user whether he thought the first responders who died on 9\/11 were actors, Stelling replied: "If you believe that you are a very deluded person."<\/p>\n
The timing of Le Tissier's tweets are potentially harmful to those who lost loved ones during the awful attack on what was one of the world's most recognised landmarks. The September 2011 tragedy claimed the lives of 2,977 victims and initiated the global 'war on terror'.<\/p>\n

Le Tissier's views have led to division even within his family, admitting some thought he had 'mental health issues' due to his views on the Covid pandemic.<\/p>\n The ex-Premier League star no longer works regularly in the punditry scene but has made sporadic appearances on right-leaning GB News since leaving Sky.<\/p>\n
