{"id":287064,"date":"2023-09-10T13:35:56","date_gmt":"2023-09-10T13:35:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportsloveme.com\/?p=287064"},"modified":"2023-09-10T13:35:56","modified_gmt":"2023-09-10T13:35:56","slug":"anthony-joshua-gets-back-to-work-in-the-ring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportsloveme.com\/boxing\/anthony-joshua-gets-back-to-work-in-the-ring\/","title":{"rendered":"Anthony Joshua gets back to work in the ring"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Anthony Joshua gets back to work in the ring as showdown with Deontay Wilder is cast into doubt with Eddie Hearn warning another fight may be held instead in December<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Anthony Joshua has shared a photo of himself working in the boxing ring\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><b>The Brit&#8217;s fight with Deontay Wilder is now looking increasingly\u00a0unlikely\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Joshua has won two fights in a row since losing\u00a0twice to Oleksandr Usyk<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Anthony Joshua\u00a0is back in training, even though he is far from locking down his next opponent.<\/p>\n<p>The Brit shared a photo of himself in the ring at Finchley Boxing Club on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The post comes after reports that a showdown against\u00a0Deontay Wilder may now not happen later this year, promoter Eddie Hearn has warned.<\/p>\n<p>A potential shift in boxing in Saudi Arabia has been attributed as the major stumbling block currently threatening to scupper the fight initially set for this winter.<\/p>\n<p>The new Saudi management, Skill Challenge Entertainment, are the organisation responsible for staging Tyson Fury&#8217;s crossover fight against Francis Ngannou.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/10\/13\/75265537-12501429-image-a-42_1694348548500.jpg\" height=\"1127\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Anthony Joshua took to Instagram to show fans he was getting back to work on Sunday<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;If we don&#8217;t get that sorted soon, you&#8217;ll probably see AJ fight [someone else] in December,&#8217; Hearn told Boxing King Media.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Firstly, Prince Khalid [bin Abdulaziz] have been great partners with us and great friends. I&#8217;m sure we&#8217;ll work with that new entity as well. You saw yesterday they throw a lot of money in these things and make some noise.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;For us, we&#8217;ve agreed to terms for Joshua and Wilder, but until we receive a contract, the fight&#8217;s not happening.
