after he was found to have committed a doping violation.<\/p>\n<p>The France and Juventus midfielder is facing a ban of up to four years after testing positive for testosterone.<\/p>\n<p>The 30-year-old, whose return to Italy\u00a0from Manchester United in July 2022 had already turned into a nightmare before this development, is reported to have tested positive after his club\u2019s Serie A\u00a0fixture against Udinese on August 20, a game in which he did not play.<\/p>\n<p>He has now been suspended by Italy&#8217;s national anti-doping tribunal on an initial precautionary basis and has three days to request a B sample.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Though he may not be innocent, Pogba&#8217;s agent,\u00a0Rafaela Pimenta, has leapt to his defence in a newly-released statement.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/12\/10\/75326093-12508135-image-a-69_1694509498743.jpg\" height=\"458\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Paul Pogba&#8217;s (pictured) agent has leapt to his defence after he was banned for doping<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/12\/10\/75326443-12508135-image-a-90_1694510313129.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Rafaela Pimenta said the midfielder &#8216;never meant to break the rules&#8217; as she broke her silence<\/p>\n<p>Your browser does not support iframes.<\/p>\n<p>Via reporter Simon Stone, Pimenta said: &#8216;We are waiting for the counter analysis and until then we can&#8217;t say anything.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The certain thing is that Paul Pogba never wanted to break the rules.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Though Pogba&#8217;s positive test was given three games ago, he has since played a part in Juventus&#8217;
