The 32-year-old shocked the world with his dominant victory over Israel Adesanya at UFC 293 in Australia that saw him inflict a five-round masterclass on the Nigerian-born fighter.<\/p>\n
It was a second title loss in three fights for 'The Last Stylebender' whose latest defeat spells yet another undisputed champion in the middleweight division.<\/p>\n
Upon his return to America days after his stunning win, Strickland posted a video on Instagram showing how he'd already broken part of his new title.<\/p>\n

Captioning the post: "Is it just me or did this belt just become way better?", the California native told his 601k followers that he's already broken the belt and was assisted by tape to help stick one of the side plates of the belt back onto its leather strap.<\/p>\n
While fans were disappointed with the champion's carelessness as one wrote: "Man couldn't last a day as champ without f***ing up the belt" many others were preoccupied with the sheer amount of guns and bullets Strickland had hanging on his wall.<\/p>\n

One fan joked that: Strickland's gonna use the belt for target practice next" while another said his living room resembles a gun store from popular video game, GTA, as they commented: "Mans living room looks like an ammunition from GTA."<\/p>\n
While Strickland and Adesanya embraced after their bout, some may have thought the bad blood between them had ended but the new champion had some harsh words for his opponent's performance.<\/p>\n
\u201cGoddamn, dude. I feel like the guy didn\u2019t even try,\u201d Strickland told the media after his win.<\/p>\n

The fighter acknowledged his tendency to trash talk and admitted he believed he'd leave UFC 293 with a concussion but was instead relatively unscathed.<\/p>\n
