Harry Kane has been quick to make his mark on his new Bayern Munich team-mates following his £100million arrival from Tottenham, with reports suggesting he is already among the top three most important figures in the dressing room.

Kane’s departure from north London was undoubtedly one of the stories of the summer, with a long saga ensuing throughout the transfer window.

The England captain eventually chose to make the switch from Tottenham – seemingly forsaking a good chance at smashing Alan Shearer’s Premier League goal scoring record – and has shown his quality already in Germany.

After just four games the England captain, who netted against Scotland on Tuesday night, has already scored three and assisted one more.

Yet it still comes as a surprise that a player who has spent little over a month a the club is already on a par with Joshua Kimmich and Bayern legend Thomas Muller according to German outlet BILD.

Harry Kane has been quick to impose himself on his new squad after arriving a month ago

The Bayern Munich striker is thought to be in the top bracket of influence, while captain Manuel Neuer has slipped down the rankings

Kane arrives as an international captain as well as having the reputation as one of the most dependable No 9s in the world

The striker is one of the best finishers in the world and undoubtedly has a case as the best No 9, and perhaps the dependability and reputation he has built for himself in front of goal brings him a level of trust and faith in the squad.

Kane is also an experienced leader with both England and Tottenham, captaining the former full-time and standing in regularly for Hugo Lloris with the latter.

The 30-year-old’s integration into the side is thought to be down to the help of Muller, who joined Kane for a round of golf recently in Munich.

Another notable surprise sees club captain Manuel Neuer currently in the second tier of influence, perhaps as a result of a lengthy spell out after a broken leg.

The goalkeeper – widely regarded as one of the best in the world and perhaps the history of goalkeeping – has not played since November for Bayern, and as such has seen his standing fall somewhat.

Kim Min-jae, himself a summer arrival too, comes into the third bracket of influence just below Neuer alongside long-standing members of the squad Kingsley Coman and Leon Goretzka.

The South Korean has impressed his team-mates with his meticulous approach to training, and as well as having been a leader at Serie A winners Napoli, he has even taken the likes of Jamal Musiala under his wing, as per BILD.

The likes of Leroy Sane and Musiala have seen their own standing improve after impressive displays last term, but sit above their attacking partner Serge Gnabry, who is not thought to harbour any leadership ambitions.

Thomas Muller is thought to have a strong relationship with Kane and completes the top three along with stand-in skipper Joshua Kimmich

Kim Min-jae is also already a prominent member of the squad despite his recent arrival

Bayern have made an emphatic start to the season scoring nine in three Bundesliga games

The former Arsenal forward is on a par with defenders Dayot Upamecano, Matthijs De Ligt, reported Real Madrid target Alphonso Davies, Sven Ulreich, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Konrad Laimer.

Mathys Tel has emerged as a real talent in the side and has staked his claim on a first-team position, but ranks joint-bottom with Noussair Mazraoui, Bouna Sarr, and third-choice goalkeeper Daniel Perets.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have made a typically emphatic start to life in the Bundesliga on the return of club football from the summer, scoring nine goals in three games at the start of the 2023-24 campaign.

They are however only second in the standings, behind only Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen, who have gone two better, scoring 11 goals in the same period to take an early lead in the German top-flight.
