Veteran broadcaster Richard Keys has taken aim at Man City over the club’s pricing of hospitality tickets for young fans.<\/p>\n
A report from the the Mirror revealed City’s Autograph package will cost an eye-watering\u00a0\u00a32,130 for under 12s and\u00a0\u00a33,200 for older \u00adchildren and adults.<\/p>\n
The club’s website calls the package ‘one of the most extraordinary experiences in the world of football’ and offers fans the chance to ‘snap a photo and get an autograph with some of your favourite names in football from the Man City team’.<\/p>\n
However, Keys slammed the high price of the experience, and called on the Premier League champions to ‘Engage with [the] fan base the right way.’<\/p>\n
‘Come on @ManCity If there\u2019s a club in the world can afford to do this properly it\u2019s you.’ The former Sky Sports presenter wrote on social media.<\/p>\n

The broadcaster took to social media to call on the club engage with the fan base ‘the right way’<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Package is priced at \u00a32,130 for under-12s and allows fans to get an autograph and pictures with stars<\/p>\n
‘This is a disgrace at a time when money is so tight in the U.K. Engage with tomorrow\u2019s fan base the right way. Make the service complementary.’<\/p>\n
In addition to the chance to meet players, the Autograph package also includes ‘executive transport to the Etihad from a City centre location’, ‘five-course fine dining experience with inclusive drinks’ and ‘luxury, padded, heated seats directly behind the team dugouts’.<\/p>\n
By comparison, the most expensive hospitality package including a matchday ticket for rivals Manchester United’s clash with Crystal Palace later this month is listed at \u00a31,250.<\/p>\n
However, City’s Autograph package isn’t the most expensive hospitality ticket in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
Arsenal’s ‘Hero Experience’\u00a0has prices starting at \u00a38,940 and offers fans the chance to meet a first team player of their choice and enjoy ‘private pre-match pitch-side tour with an Arsenal legend’.<\/p>\n
