Roy Hodgson has recovered from illness and will be back in the dugout this weekend, Crystal Palace have announced.<\/p>\n
The 76-year-old manager was \u2018taken unwell\u2019 last Saturday morning and subsequently missed his side\u2019s 3-1 loss at Aston Villa.<\/p>\n
It was not clear why exactly the former England boss was ill, but thankfully his club issued a very positive update on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
\u2018We are delighted to confirm Roy Hodgson led Crystal Palace training today,\u2019 a statement from the Eagles read. <\/p>\n
\u2018The manager was absent from Saturday\u2019s match at Villa Park but will return to the dugout for Saturday\u2019s match against Fulham at Selhurst Park.\u2019<\/p>\n
Hodgson will be looking to maintain Palace\u2019s solid start to the season against his former club, with the Eagles ninth in the Premier League with seven points from five games.<\/p>\n
However, things are less positive on the injury front for the players, as it was also reported on Tuesday that star forward Michael Olise has suffered a setback as he recovers from a hamstring tear.<\/p>\n
