Birmingham and QPR struggled for a cutting edge as they fought out a goalless draw in an uneventful game at St Andrews.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Both City’s John Ruddy and the visitors Asmir Begovic both pulled off impressive saves in the second half, but neither side could force a way through and had to settle for a point a piece.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sam Field’s impressive goal-line clearance from a Steve Cook deflection was the highlight of a drab affair, as the QPR midfielder acrobatically prevented the ball from the crossing the line.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In the end Rangers\u00a0boss Gareth Ainsworth will be the happier of the new managers, with a point and a clean sheet on the road that sees his side move up to 17th, while Birmingham stay 8th in the table.\u00a0<\/p>\n
